At ConsumerSearch, we strive to make our content objective and precise; at no point are our editors influenced by advertising or other commercial considerations.
Our goal is to report the truth about what experts and users are saying as well as important developments in each product category we cover.
If your tap water doesn't taste very appealing, or if you're concerned about contaminants or heavy metals in your water supply, you need a water filter.
Water-filtering pitchers are easy to use if you just want to have filtered drinking water on hand, but in the reviews we read (both expert and user reviews), there's a LOT of variation in ease of use.
The ongoing cost of replacement filters is also a criticism. Faucet-mount filters are another option, but as we found in owner-written reviews, these also come in for criticism.
